10:00am – Teams present posters, ads, and device prototypes

11:30am – Pizza Lunch*

*Students with specific diets should plan to bring packed lunches.

Registration

Please complete the below webform no later than February 15 to formally register each teacher and the competing teams they are coaching.  See below “Waiver, Poster Submission, & Participant Details” for information about registering students.

Wearable Device Challenge - Teacher Registration

Middle and high school teachers use this form to register teams for the Wearable Device Challenge no later than February 15th.
  • Please provide the name of your school above.
  • Please provide the name of the teacher sponsoring the team(s).
  • At this time, we can only accommodate 1 or 2 teams from each participating teacher at the competition. If more there is more than one teacher at the same school, each teacher can bring one or two.
  • For example, some schools will have many teams prepare devices and then host an internal competition to select 1 or 2 teams to send to the competition at NCSU.

Waiver, Poster Submission, & Participant Details

Please complete the below webform at least two weeks in advance to formally register each individual competing student.  Competition materials should be uploaded to this Google Drive folder. Posters must be submitted at least two weeks in advance in order to print.

Every participating student also requires a completed and parent-signed copy of the NCSU General Participation Agreement, available for download below. Students can bring the signed copy with them to the competition.

If your ad campaign is a website, please create a document with your team name, school name, and the website URL.  Upload this document to the above Submission folder.

Parking

Personal Parking

Teachers, families or guests can park in the Coliseum parking deck, in the pay lot area on the lower level. The lot entrance is on Dunn Avenue across from the bus stop.

Only cards accepted, no cash. $2/hour, $10 max/day.


Bus Parking

Bus parking is also located in the Coliseum Parking Deck, surface lot. There should be signs posted saying bus parking only. Your drivers may leave the buses parked in the surface lot. You may then use the surface lot as your unloading / loading zone or use the carriage way behind Talley and move the buses to the surface lot.
