9:15-9:45am – Registration

10:00am – Teams present posters, ads, and device prototypes

11:30am – Pizza Lunch*

12:00pm – Awards Announcement

12:30pm – Adjournment

*Students with specific diets should plan to bring packed lunches.

Registration, Waiver, & Poster Submission

Please complete the below webform no later than April 7 to formally register each individual competing student and every sponsoring teacher.  Competition materials should be uploaded to this Google Drive folder. Posters must be submitted by April 7 in order to print.

Every participating student also requires a completed and parent-signed copy of the NCSU General Participation Agreement, available for download below.

Deadlines

February 15, 2017 – Deadline to register teams for the 2017 Wearable Device Challenge

April 7, 2017 – Deadline to submit all materials from competing teams

April 19, 2017 – Wearable Device Challenge held at NC State University

Parking

Personal Parking

Teachers, families or guests can park in the Poulton Pay Lot, across the street from the Hunt Library.

Only cards accepted, no cash. $2/hour, $10 max/day.


Bus Parking

Bus parking is available in 2 different locations so ASSIST will coordinate the day-of.  An ASSIST Staff member will be stationed outside Hunt Library starting at 8:30am to greet buses as they arrive to drop off students at the Library.  The staff member will coordinate needs between schools and instruct each bus where to park.  Maps will be provided for all lot locations.
