Undergraduate Research Fellows Program (Academic Term)
The academic term undergraduate research program offers research opportunities for ASSIST undergraduate students. The program is open to any student who ismajoring in an engineering-related field at one of ASSIST’s partnering institutions.
This is a semester-long experience in which students will be partnered with a faculty mentor to conduct a research project related to one of the ASSIST center’s primary focus areas. At the end of the program, students are expected to present their work at a student symposium, conference, or similar event.
This is a continuing program with no fixed deadlines. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received, and qualified applicants will be accepted as positions become available.
Students will receive a $2000 stipend for a four-month project.
To submit an online application, please follow the link at the top of this page. Please note the application form requires that you submit:

- The name and e-mail address of at least one professor, faculty member, or other individual who can vouch for your academic merits and has agreed to provide a recommendation
